What people say
We want to send you a special thank you for this great collective effort by sharing some testimonies:
Petrona Luna Álvaro tells us:
“When I didn't have water I used to wash in the big river, now, thanks to the cistern, I can always wash in my house.”
Guadalupe Hernández López says:
“Before I used to go to the river or the spring that flows into the river, and it took me 1 hour to carry water, now I always have water. This cistern was very well located since it is right where we wash. The time I used to spend fetching water, now I spend on cooking.”
Pedro Pérez Hernández explains:
“Before we had the cistern we went to a small spring that forms a small stream in the mountain. To get there and stock up, my wife and children went 3 times a day. Now they no longer need to go, thanks to the cistern.”
