Cheetah Experience in Bloemfontein want to educate at least 2000 kids the value of conservation of wildlife. We will bring them to the centre and they will be involved in different activities to learn about the predators behavior. With educational videos, show and tell cards and bring them close to the animals. To teach our future generation will have a huge impact of saving endangered animals.
Conservation through education is how one will change a nation. In South Africa there are many kids who don't have the means or money to be educated about wildlife and how we can save them. They are the future generation that will benefit for learning about wildlife and how it can save our planet. There is one zoo in Bloemfontein, without an education program. In Bloemfontein we have 109 schools with 150 000 learners. More than 50 percent of these kids are from underprivileged families
We will be able to bring small groups of children to Cheetah Experience and teach the kids about wildlife conservation, and how important it is to conserve our wildlife. They will be able to get close to the animals, to see different species and to learn the differences of all the species. They will get a small meal and also watch a video of our education program. Kids will be taught to share their knowledge with friends and family. They will understand the importance of conservation.
The project will educate 2000 kids per year. The kids will learn the importance of conservation, how they can pursue a careen in conservation. How conservation will benefit the country, bring more tourists to see our beautiful wildlife and will create more job opportunities.
