Unfortunately, many children and young people in Syria still lack access to an education. While ensuring that children are safeguarded from child labor and given the necessary tools for a better future, education also helps communities recover from crisis. It's important to remember that more than 1000 children and adolescents wouldn't be able to attend school if not for the Jafra schools.
Jafra was able to be supported by the donations made to this initiative, which helped to pay for some of the stationary expenses and a portion of the teacher wages. You made it possible for the pupils to profit from education up until this point.
However, we must admit that the situation is critical and that additional cash is required. We must continue paying teachers, purchasing and distributing school supplies for both pupils and teachers in order to maintain a good standard of education.
The heating of schools throughout the winter is another crucial component. Despite being in the Middle East, wintertime temperatures in Syria are frequently below zero. Your kind donations will make the project viable, keeping the next generation educated and less likely to look for immigration in European nations.
