CONGRATULATIONS to Ivett , from Coripata, who had her formal graduation in Biochemistry and Pharmacy at the UNDABOL University. Here, Ivett is with her mother on her graduation day. Very well deserved!!

We are excited to begin the new school year, and again this year Helping Hands will be supporting about 100 students. We invite you to meet some of our new students on our sponsorship page. Would you like to sponsor a high school students or a post-secondary student?

HOW YOU CAN HELP THIS MONTH

So far for 2019 we have raised $ 5391 and need to raise $4609 more to keep our 31 GlobalGiving girls in school. We appreciate so much you support so far; we are off to a good start. One time donations or monthly recurring donations are so very welcome for this group of girls.

Nataly is now in Veterinary Medicine, Jocelin in Business Administration and Jessica in Gastronomy!!!

OTHER NEWS AND ACTIVITIES:

Busy, busy in January and February re-registering last year’s students and registering the new students. Here Jhuliza is showing us her last semester grades. Welcome back Jhuliza.
Free Wednesday lunches started up and Naomi from the UK dropped by for a visit. Welcome to Helping Hands, Naomi.
Former student, Marco, an Agronomy student, who now works in the Yungas on the coffee projects, invited us to his wedding. Congratulations and best wishes for the future, Marco.
At our first meeting of the year the students got to know each other with several ice-breaker games and by playing soccer. The youngest ones had a ball, too. Little Nataniela , our youngest student, helped blow out the birthday candles.
