Another Joyous Celebration
![]()
Jambo everyone,
Springs of Hope Foundations Kijiji Mission Project held our semi-annual graduation celebrations for the year 2022/2023 yesterday. The ceremony, attended by parents, and other invitees began at 10 am with a prayer by the Pastor who was the day's master of ceremony, followed by a session of praising God with songs led by one of the girls, then a Pastor from Maasai Mara briefly shared the word of God and a blessing.
Maasai, Kalenjin, and sign dances were performed by the girls. They also did a fashion show to showcase their learning for the year they were with us. They performed with a lot of elegance and splendor. Their parents were impressed by the maturity in their daughters, since first joining the program 12 months ago, and were very appreciative of everyone involved in this program.
The speeches were given by our guests and two of our parents. Daraja our project partners were our main speakers, most of the speeches were directed to our Director Jennifer Hughes in her absentia and the donors who always have the girls in their hearts by providing the opportunity for our students to have this amazing opportunity totally free of charge.
The issuance of certificates was done by Dr. Edward who was one of our graduate,'s guardians.
Finally, the cake-cutting was conducted by Pastor Susan Ngugi. It was a joyous day for everyone who came for the ceremony which ended with a word of prayer by one of the parents.
Wishing all our graduates a happy new chapter in their life. Remember to trust in God.
Asante Sana,
Warmest blessings,
Martha Kariuki
