Valentine's Day is considered especially significant in Guatemala. El Día del Cariño translates to “the day of affection.” Rather than focusing purely on romantic love, February 14th is a day to show affection to all of those who are nearest and dearest including family, friends, and even colleagues and acquaintances.
On this day of love, we want to thank you for making sure that our young students are surrounded by love every day! Visit our website and social media pages to view photos of the children making valentines hearts this week at the Center.
Love is a gift worth sharing--thank you for helping us make a difference this Valentine's Day!
