SPONSOR 230 MEXICAN KIDS ASPIRING TO GET EDUCATION

In the rural community called Don Diego, the pandemic has affected many people. Some got sick, a few died, many lost their jobs.

But ALL  THE CHILDREN have suffered the effects of the crisis. They have been left behind in their education, already deficient.

They do not understand they have to study from home, without seeing their teacher. They suffer loneliness not being able to play with class mates. 

Our Foundation has made special efforts to open to them a space in our Education Center,  serving the students of  three nearby schools that are closed now,  to welcome them,  with loving trained educators, to compensate for the lack of regular school classes. 

Our educators work in colaboration with the rural teachers, facilitating the communication via zoom of some teachers with the students. Most of them do not have computers or internet in their homes. Our Education Center is equipped with internet, and computers, thanks to donations received, many of them thru GLOBAL GIVING. This has made a difference to many poor children during the pandemic.

The benefits for the children attending is not only in their studies, but also psychological.  In the pictures you can appreciate how happy are these children doing some basic school work along with their friends.

Needless to say that we are taking all the sanitary precautions to protect them and the teachers, and that our Education Center obtained the approval from the authorities to open partially, while the official school remain closed.

Our help has reached only 35% of the student population so far. Our goal is to increase the number of laptops, and adquire simple tablets, to lend  to older students. Your donations can make this happen sooner. And to give a better future to an student of a poor community.
