Hello, my friend and dear supporter of the Heya Masr Educate to Empower project. I am happy to report on and share with you a quick summary of our achievements in Q3 2023.

Heya Masr has made significant strides in empowering communities through its impactful programs and partnerships. Some notable achievements include:

Online Activities:

• Monthly webinars covering:
- Emotional regulation for parents
- Sex education
- New academic year preparation
• Online English classes
• Facilitators training sessions

In-Person Programs:

Educational Programs:
• Total children served: 328 across multiple locations:
- 24 girls at Almaraa Algdida orphanage
- 67 children at Establ Antr school
- 30 children at Makom-Helwan
- 30 children at the Alborhan association
- 15 children at Ersm Helmk association
- 45 children at Bezra association
- 30 children at Alshark Alawsat
- 10 children at Ruwwad Foundation (with mothers)

Physical Training:
• Self-defense workshops including:
- Two-day intensive workshop
- Special training session sponsored by Sigma Fit

Community Engagement:
• Parent sessions at multiple locations:
- Alborhan association
- Establ Antr community school
- Ruwwad foundation

Academic Partnerships:
• Helwan University:
- Internship program completion for 29 sociology students
- Training sessions for students and volunteers
• AUC Partnership:
- 33 students' documentary project
- 6 success story video production
- Fundraising promotional materials

Corporate Partnership:
• Sigma Fit collaboration:
- Sponsored self-defense classes
- CEO mentorship sessions

In Peron programs:

•  150 children from the Heya Masr Hayati children's program graduated from multiple locations, including the Akon Foundation in the garbage collector's city.Almosanda Welertkaa in Manshiat Nasser ( 15 children), Ehlm Htwsl in Ezbat Elwalda, Helwan (30 children),Makom Association in Helwan, at the Masr Alnahrda Association, Also at the Makom Association in Helwan, The children’s program focuses on personal growth, self-confidence, and life skills for children.
• Provided the Hayatna parents' sessions in the above locations, equipping parents with essential skills to support their children's development.
• Provided a presentation to 30 AUC students in the framework of Heya Masr's partnership with academic community engagement at AUC
• Kicked off new classes in Dar Elfatiat in Agouza, Noba Alkheer in Alkitkat, and Ataa Alkouther in Manshiat Nasser.
• Heya Masr participated in the Maxim Mall event for three days, presenting its services to different segments of beneficiaries to sustain its impact in developing our communities into resilient communities.

Online Parents webinars:

• Healing from dysfunctional families.
• First aid and healthy nutrition for children.
• How to prepare children to kick off the new school year.
