YOU are changing the lives of amazing children like Anthony!
Anthony's a 9-year-old primary four student at Nyaka Primary School. Each morning he and his sisters walk for an hour to get to school. His teachers are so proud of how hard he works in school and how much he is excelling! He has so much confidence and hope for his future that he dreams of being the President of Uganda someday!
As one of ten children, Anthony works as hard at home as he does at school to help out his single mother. Anthony’s father passed away when Anthony was very young, and he has stepped up to take over many household responsibilities. Right now he spends his free time weeding the family fields.
Life for this amazing little boy could have been very different after the death of his father. Without help, Anthony's mother wouldn't be able to send even one of her children to school. All ten children would be trapped in poverty.
Because of YOU, Anthony gets to go to school, eats two hot meals every day, goes to the clinic when he's sick, reads as many books as he wants, and plays with his friends every school day.
