The Race to 1k begins NOW!
It is BONUS Day and from now until midnight Global Giving will be matching $.50 of every dollar donated.
There is also a $1,000 prize given to the organization that has the most new donors.
Your favorite Nyaka & Kutamba students need you to help them win this virtual relay.
Pass the baton in this relay and you could support the education of 4 primary students just like Allan.
Allan could have been easily overlooked.
He is a child with a severe neurological disorder living in rural Uganda without access to medical attention or social services.
Allan's ability to live a productive life was a long shot at best.
Until he met YOU.
You have funded Allan's education through primary school and helped fund an important surgery restoring some mobility in his arms and legs.
You also purchased a wheelchair for him so that he would no longer have to crawl on the ground to get around.
Today, because of your investments, international volunteers are teaching Allan computer skills.
Due to Allan's disability, his ability to attend secondary school with his peers is impossible. The closest facility that can meet his special needs is in Kampala - a ten hour drive away from his family, friends and village.
Thanks to you, we are able to keep Allan surrounded by the community that he loves while helping him reach his highest potential.
