Designing for high-valued vegetables

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative educating and improving the lives of 500 poor farmers. This reporting period we are happy to inform you that we suceeded in promoting the growing of high valued vegetables in small spaces and using improved techniques. For example we demonstrated the use of pipes and running water with soluble fertilizers in the growing of lettuce. Lettuce sells well in the market here and demand is always high. We target the holiday season in order to scale this initiative up and so generate good income for the farmers. A total of 15 farmers is adopting the practice and we hope to expand to more farmers. Hoping for your continuing support. Thank you very much.

Very sincerely yours,

Cesario Sayre
