Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative educating and improving the lives of 500 poor farmers. This initiative achieves significance as we aim to improve local productivity so that local farmers will be able to provide food to their families and sell the surplus to neighbors thereby improving access to local food supply. The coronavirus pandemic has broken down the food supply chain and there is difficulty for food from the outside to be delivered to far areas thereby the logic of local food production albeit on a smaller scale so that surplus is small and there will be no wastage. This reporting period we are able to provide farming inputs comprising farm tools, organic fertilizer and fruit and vegetable seedlings. We also provide education by the distribution of flyers and leaflets that are easily read and understood by farmers. We reached-out to 220 farmers in this manner.
