Project Report: Educate 89 Inner-City Youths and Adults

                    in Panamá by Academia Juntos Podemos

 

 

Overview

Juntos Podemos, is a civic social center located in the inner-city neighborhood of Curundu, in Panama, launched an initiative to educate 89 youths and adults. This program aims to provide educational opportunities and support to individuals in a community that faces significant socio-economic challenges.

 

Goals and Objectives

1. Increase Literacy and Education Levels: Provide foundational education to improve literacy rates among youths and adults.

2. Skill Development: Equip participants with vocational skills to enhance employability.

3. Community Engagement: Foster a sense of community and support through educational programs.

4. Personal Development: Promote personal growth and self-esteem among participants.

 

Implementation Strategy

1. Assessment Phase: Identify the educational needs and current skill levels of the 89 participants through initial assessments.

2. Curriculum Development: Design a tailored curriculum that addresses basic literacy, vocational skills, and personal development.

3. Partnerships: Collaborate with local educational institutions, NGOs, and businesses to provide resources and support.

4. Monitoring and Evaluation: Establish a system to track the progress of participants and the effectiveness of the program.

   - Recruited 89 participants from Curundú.
