Greetings,
My name is Enrique Gutiérrez Rubio, and I have been a volunteer at Juntos Podemos since 2007. For the
last ten years, I have been teaching at Juntos Podemos Academy, afternoon school for adults and youth.
I am deeply humbled that the board of directors have chosen me to serve as the executive director.
One of the first things I want to do in the new position is to thanks God for all of you who have been
supporting Juntos Podemos through donations, and by volunteering your time and talents. Thanks to
your help, we are working in one of the poorest areas of Panama City by offering:
* a bilingual academy for pre-kinder to ninth-grade students;
* an afternoon academy for seventh- to twelfth-grade youths who had interruptions in their education;
* an evening school for adults;
* a kitchen for feeding students;
* sports and discipleship programs for children and teens; and
* support in meeting the physical, spiritual, emotional and legal needs of those in the neighborhood.
We greatly appreciate your financial support and hands-on help through voluntary service, including
online service. Do not hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or suggestions about what we
do or how you can be involved.
I consider it a great privilege to work with you and the Juntos Podemos team to serve the community of
Curundu.
