It has been 16 years since we opened the school in Curundu. It has been good years and we have graduated hundreds of students who are now working and many are professionals. Most of them had no options to study, no hope of graduating from high school. But we were able to teach them to dream and to work hard to reach new goals.
Thanks to you, we can continue educating and offering a daily plate of food to these young people who do not have resources.
Every year we increase the goal or target figure to raise, to continue getting income for the year and, although it is not much what we receive through GlobalGiving, it is enough to feed our students. Thank you for your loyalty.
In March we started the 2022 school year with face-to-face classes after 2 years of virtual classes. Our teachers and students are happy and make good use of the classes and the time they share together.
If you are in Panama, we want to invite you to celebrate the 16 years of Juntos Podemos at our facilities in Curundu, on Sunday, June 5, from 10:00 am. You are welcome.
