This project will provide quality education to 50 children living in rural Uganda. Your donation will go towards required school fees, learning materials and feeding to orphans who would not be able to attend otherwise. Helping a child reach their full potential with a solid foundation of learning allows them to become confident community leaders with the ability to solve their own problems.
Education is a human right, yet 60% of primary school aged children in Sub-Saharan Africa cannot afford to attend school, like in the village of Mityana Uganda. The absence of education is the root cause of poverty. Without it diseases like HIV/AIDS spread, while teen pregnancies and malnutrition continues. For every four children you find an orphan who is not schooling and need to school.
Samaritans for Children's purpose is to provide orphaned and vulnerable children who are referred to our organization with food, clothing, medical care and education. Many are single or double orphaned and raised by grandmothers who have no source of income. With your support we will be able to pay for their education at nearby Private schools.
