Jambo!
Happy New Year! We hope this message finds you well. As we begin another year, we are reaching out with a heartfelt request to continue your invaluable support for the education of 40 vulnerable children here at Ikirwa School.
After weeks of school closure due to the long holiday break, we are all eagerly awaiting the return of our students. We look forward to hearing their laughter, watching them engage in classroom studies, and seeing them enjoy time with their friends on the playing fields.
As you know, many of our children come from families facing extreme poverty, which limits their access to basic educational resources. Your contribution can ensure they receive the education they desperately need to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future. With your support, we can provide the essentials—tuition, textbooks, uniforms, and meals—enabling these children to attend school, learn, and thrive. Our goal is to offer every student the opportunity to dream beyond the boundaries of Midawe Village.
We are proud to share that all 24 of our recent Class Seven graduates have started secondary school in local communities, equipped with strong foundations. We know they will not only succeed but thrive. We always think of January as our planting season—the time when we plant the seeds of knowledge. Throughout the year, we are fortunate to watch our children blossom and grow with confidence and wisdom.
Through GlobalGiving, your donation directly supports this critical effort, helping us meet their needs and ensure their success. A small gift from you can unlock the power of education for these 40 children, giving them hope and opportunity for a brighter tomorrow.
We are deeply grateful for your past support, and we hope you will consider helping again. Together, we can transform the lives of these children and provide the education they deserve.
Thank you for making such a meaningful difference in their future.
All the best.
Rose Hogan
