Dear African Angels Supporters,
It has been a busy start to the 2025 school year, which actually started in December 2024 with the collection and sorting of all the wonderful stationery donations we received from companies, schools and individuals, which resulted in a massively reduced stationery budget for the schooland also helped to keep many plastic items out of our landfill sites!
In 2025 the ownership of the land on which African Angels is located, was transferred from its former owners, the Emmanual Mission Trust, into our name. This is a huge milestone for our school, and we are grateful to the Emmanual Mission Trust for entrusting us with the property. Certainty of tenure is a wonderful thing to have. We are now in the process of exploring how we might leverage the property to develop an income stream for the school. Stay tuned for more information in the future.
What we are doing is working!
We are so proud of our African Angel Guardian Angels (Alumni). Through hard work and tenacity nearly one third of our grade 7 class have managed to secure scholarships for their high school studies.
Their success is a testament to the dedicated staff, parents and sponsors who supported them throughout their primary school years. We follow the careers of our African Angel Guardian Angels and continue to offer support and mentorship as they make their way. We are sure that the dispositions they have been taught and have practiced at African Angels will stand them in good stead for the future and we wish them luck with the remainder of their educational journey.
