Sunday 19 August 2018: African Angels held a Sand Castle Building Competition on the beautiful Chintsa Beach as part of the local Jikeleza Festival. Learners and their families from African Angels, their teachers and local community members joined in to spend two hours creating their sandcastle masterpiece. Great fun was had by all the children and R1200 was raised for the school. Learners worked in teams to make their creation! Local business donated wonderful prizes and UK based Debbie Burnett had the hard task of judging the sculputres. Fortunately everyone managed to win a prize on the day.
A wonderful community event!
