Meet Aisha Promise, a sweet five-year-old girl at Musoli Early Learning Centre, one of the centres that enjuba supports in Mayuge District. She is a joyful, confident and thoughtful girl. Sitting on the 3rd row in her class, she is composed and attentive to her teachers and shows clear interest in learning.
She wants to be a chef someday—cooking for her classmates, maybe working in a hotel, and even making meals at home. And then she added that she wants to be prayerful, too. Isn’t that the sweetest thing? It’s so special to see a little girl with such big, caring ideas about her future already.
Girls like Aisha hold the banner for the future. Because of your support, we’re doing our best to help Aisha and her friends build toward those dreams. This year, we’re focusing on teaching them to read, and giving them a solid start in math and problem-solving. It’s amazing to think how these simple skills could change their lives down the road—opening doors they don’t even know exist yet.
