In February of this year visits were made to monitor activities of the projects that are part of the reconstruction area. Interviews were conducted in tsotsil ans were translated into spanish and english. In these months the editing of these videos has been completed to use them for monitoring, evaluation and to report on activities.
As for the Educational Development Center "Yo´onik", the facilities are ready. The space will be prepared with the mandatory hygiene measures so that the return of girls and boys to class can be safe, considering the health contingency by COVID-19.
Also, activities have been followed up thorugh virtual consultancies to colleagues on the coast to create communication strategies that speak of the educational spaces in the area and the needs they present due to the pandemic. In addition, remote work has served to monitor and be informed of the stages. It is important to continue with the work and adapt it to these new digital tools to strengthen communication.
