Dear Young Focus friend,
Greetings from Manila!
One of the school dropout programs is called 'Love2Learn'. Love2Learn children are children from ages 8 up to 15. Recently they had an educational tour at the National Museum of Natural History and the National Planetarium in celebration of the Museums and Galleries Month. They were overjoyed with the experience. A side trip to the Manila's Luneta Park made it even more meaningful -- they rode a train, ate ice cream, watched the birds and shared a good laugh with their classmates. This tour gave them multi-sensory opportunities for learning that is sure to last a lifetime.
Just over 60 children attend the Love2Learn classes and our vision is that they will be able to go back to a regular school after this school year.
We wish them good luck!
Thanks for being part of this project!
Yours,
Paul van Wijgerden
Managing Director Young Focus
