The impact of climate change is intensifying globally, with vulnerable communities facing disproportionate risks. Our project aims to address climate change through awareness campaigns, community-based initiatives, and sustainable practices. This report outlines the progress made, milestones achieved, and the path ahead.
Key Achievements1. Community Awareness & Education:
Workshops Conducted: 03 workshops across rural areas, educating 500+ individuals on climate change, carbon footprints, and sustainable living practices.
School Programs: Engaged with 05 schools, introducing eco-friendly practices and distributing educational materials on climate resilience.
Tree Plantation & Green Spaces:
Trees Planted: 1,000 saplings across degraded lands to enhance biodiversity and carbon sequestration.
Community Green Hubs: Established 5 green spaces, providing communities with shade, cleaner air, and a renewed connection to nature.
Sustainable Practices:
Waste Management Training: Trained 200 households on waste segregation and composting techniques.
Plastic-Free Campaigns: Organized 3 local clean-up drives, removing 2,500 lbs of plastic waste from coastal and urban areas.
