NDF Pakistan raised fund USD-500 plus USD-50 as bonus from GlobalGiving & community to promote work on climate change actions under Grow Green Pakistan. NDF organised one day Climate Change Dialogue to sensitise CSOs (Civil Society Organizations) on climate change actions. The dialogue was conducted with 10 local CSOs in Nawabshah to make aware them about climate change is reality or myth. The local CSOs took keen interest to participate in the awareness session because it was learning session with participatory approach. It was witnessed that the local community still is unaware about climate change reality & the effectives on the their routine life. Peope still believe it was their destiny, what happened with them, still not prepared to tackle the issue & reduce their effects on livelihoods, natural resoureces, agriculture & many others. The sesion enriched their basic knowledge on climate change, its effects & action to address climate change at local level. The deforetation was highly discouraged, tree plantation was encouraged, green belts were encourasged to counter climate change effectes.
