Almost one year ago we asked you to join us in making sure that $5K didn’t stop outstanding teenagers from conflict zones around the world from taking advantage of their full scholarship to come to UWC Costa Rica.
One year, 490 individual gifts, 232 big-hearted people like you, and $52,000 later we are proud to introduce you to the 12 students that you supported as they finish their first semester at UWC Costa Rica. Words cannot fully express how grateful we are for your continued support to UWC Costa Rica, to our students and to the UWC mission of making education a force to unite people across cultures, nations and socio-economic status.
This Tuesday, November 27th we will be closing this project page to celebrate that our goal has been matched. That day we will also be launching our new “Don’t Let $5K Stop Them!” campaign to support 12 new students who are dreaming about starting their UWC journey next August.
