Dear Donor
In Al-Hayat Camp in rural Azaz, northern Syria, Sarah lives with her mother, holding onto hope for a better tomorrow. Sarah lost her father when she was only two years old and never knew the comfort of a father's presence, the support she could have leaned on in the face of life’s hardships. Her mother struggles daily to provide a dignified life, confronting the cruelty of displacement and the scarcity of resources, trying to shield her daughter from relentless hunger and unbearable weakness.
Amid these harsh realities, your generous support has made a profound impact. Thanks to your contributions, we were able to provide bread for Sarah and her mother, a loaf that brings warmth to stomachs weakened by hunger, and a scent that fills their tent with a sense of lost security. In a world where suffering grows, bread becomes more than just food—it is a message of hope, proving that kindness still exists and that compassionate hearts continue to reach out to those in desperate need.
But this generosity must not stop. Sarah’s life and those of countless displaced families depend on the continuation of donations. Hunger today may return tomorrow, and suffering does not end with the last meal on the table. Therefore, we urge you to keep supporting, ensuring that this bread remains available to those who need it most, and that hope continues to beat in the hearts of children deprived of their most basic rights.
Thank you to every hand that has given, thank you to everyone who has brought a smile to Sarah’s face, and thank you to those who remember that there are children still waiting for the warmth of life’s simplest blessing: a loaf of bread.
