Dear Donor
When we look into Suad's eyes, we see a story that tells of the suffering of thousands of children who have paid a heavy price for the ongoing conflicts in Syria. Suad, the orphaned child, lost her father before she ever had the chance to know him, as a result of an airstrike on their town of Hreitan in northern Syria in 2018. Today, Suad lives with her mother and elderly grandparents in a modest tent in the Tel Debes camp, where her mother struggles to meet their basic needs.
Despite the harsh conditions, Suad’s mother continues to fight daily. She works in agriculture at times and relies on her sewing skills at others to provide for her family. However, the challenges remain immense, especially with the arrival of a bitterly cold winter and increasingly dire living conditions as the crisis escalates.
Thanks to your generous and continuous donations, we were able to provide a comprehensive food basket for Suad’s family. The basket included essential items such as rice, bulgur, lentils, tea, sugar, canned goods, pasta, flour, and more, helping to ease some of the daily burdens faced by the family. This basket was not just food; it was a message of hope and moral support for a family worn down by hardship.
Your donations are not merely material aid; they are a compassionate hand reaching out to restore dignity and life to those most in need. With the conflict flaring up again, displaced and impoverished families are increasingly dependent on this support, which makes a real difference in their daily lives.
On behalf of Suad and her family, we express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to you, the creators of hope. Thanks to your generosity, life continues despite the challenges.
"Together, we can give children a new chance at life."
with many thanks
