Winter Without Mercy... You Are Their Only Warmth

By Hasan Sadik | Project leader

Dear Esteemed Donor,

While we enjoy the warmth of our homes and the safety of our families, a heartbreaking tragedy unfolds along the Syrian-Turkish border. Thousands of displaced families live under worn-out tents, enduring a merciless winter of hunger and cold. Children sleep on muddy ground without blankets, and mothers struggle to soothe the cries of hunger and freezing temperatures. These people live without the basic necessities of life—no clean water, no toilets, and no protection from the biting winds.

But thanks to your boundless generosity and compassionate hearts, we were able to bring a glimmer of hope to 50 devastated families in Tel Debes Camp on the outskirts of Azaz in northern Syria. Your food baskets were a lifeline, containing essentials such as rice, bulgur, lentils, vegetable oil, olive oil, sugar, tea, flour, and basic canned goods.

Every package delivered carried a message: You are not alone. Someone hears your cries and reaches out to you.

In the face of renewed armed conflict and the decline of international aid, your contributions have become the sole refuge for these victims. You are the hope that shields them from the specter of hunger and the comforting hand that stands by them when the world has turned away.

On behalf of every child who slept full tonight and every mother who found the strength to face tomorrow, we extend our deepest gratitude. Your giving is not just food—it is a new life granted to those who have lost everything.

With utmost appreciation and gratitude,
