Dear Supporter,
Today, we would like to share with you a touching story from the camps that speaks of resilience and challenge. It’s the story of a child named Aziz, who lives with his mother in an informal camp in the countryside of Azaz, northern Syria. Aziz is a vibrant child, carrying a pure smile and innocence untouched by the harshness of his life’s circumstances. Five years ago, during their painful displacement from their hometown, Hreitan, Aziz lost his father, leaving him with only his mother to face life’s hardships.
His mother now bears the full weight of motherhood and the responsibility of providing for her child in unforgiving conditions, in an area that has endured over 14 years of conflict and crises. Despite these hardships, she continues her fight for Aziz, standing strong and holding on to hope, with her greatest concern being to secure food and basic necessities for her young son.
Thanks to your generous donations, we have been able to provide bread for Aziz and his mother, easing some of their burden and bringing them closer to meeting their basic needs. This bread is more than just sustenance; it is a source of warmth and comfort for Aziz and a relief for his mother, who tirelessly strives to offer her son a decent life despite all challenges.
Your continued support of this project is invaluable. It opens a window of hope for families like theirs and empowers them to endure in the face of life’s hardships. Each contribution you make creates a difference, sending a message that they are not alone, that there are people who care about them and stand by them.
We thank you sincerely for your unwavering support. Without you, we would not be able to reach these families and provide the essential aid they need. Our heartfelt gratitude to you, and may you be blessed for your generosity as you have brought joy and relief to Aziz and his mother.
