Dear Donor,
We would like to share with you a heart-wrenching story from northern Syria and how your generous donation brought a glimmer of joy to a devastated family.
Little Lama, just three years old, lost her father in the earthquake that struck Syria last year. Lama and her mother were visiting her grandparents' home in the village of Jindires when the devastating quake hit. Her father was buried under the rubble, while Lama, her mother, and her grandparents survived. Unfortunately, their home became uninhabitable, leaving the family to face new hardships.
Lama’s mother struggles every day to provide for her daughter and her elderly parents in dire conditions. They are in desperate need of all basic necessities, trying to rebuild their lives after the disaster. In the midst of these challenges, your donation came as a beacon of hope.
Thanks to your kindness, we were able to provide bread for Lama’s family, offering a small but meaningful comfort to a family weighed down by grief. This aid is not just a loaf of bread; it’s a message of solidarity and hope in the face of hardship.
With your continued support, we also aim to sponsor Lama through our Orphan Sponsorship Program in northern Syria, offering her a more stable and secure future—made possible through the generosity of donors like you.
Your ongoing contributions are a lifeline for these families. They are the hope that renews their spirits every day. We are deeply grateful for every moment you help alleviate the suffering of these children and the families affected.
Thank you for your invaluable support. Together, with your compassion, we make a difference.
