Dear supporter
Yahya is a young child who lives with his father, mother and sister in a tent inside a small camp in the village of Kafra in northern Syria. The family lives in extremely difficult circumstances, as Yahya’s father has been suffering from kidney failure for three years, which requires repeated dialysis sessions. Due to his health condition, he is unable to work and support the family.
Given the father’s health issues, Yahya's mother and his 13-year-old sister have been forced to work in agriculture to meet the basic needs of the family. Despite their tremendous efforts, their modest income barely covers daily living expenses, making it incredibly challenging to survive under such harsh conditions.
Through the bread distribution to this family, we have managed to alleviate part of the daily burden on the mother and her daughter. Bread is not just a daily staple; it is an essential part of their lives that contributes to their sustenance. Having regular access to bread provides the family with greater stability and helps them face daily challenges. Moreover, the distribution has allowed the family to save a portion of the money that would have been spent on purchasing bread, enabling them to allocate those funds towards other needs, such as medical treatment for the father.
The continued support from donors directly improves the lives of these vulnerable families, giving them hope for a better tomorrow. We hope to continue these efforts to ensure the provision of basic necessities to as many affected families as possible.
With sincere gratitude for your generosity
