Dear supporters,
we started 2025 with a fun and interesting visit at "Evangelische Schule Schönefeld" to discuss Nonoproject and the matters of tolerance and fascism with a project group of pupils between 14 and 18; as well as discussing reaching out to the network "schools with courage | schools agains racism" which this school is a member of.
As part of the project week, the group had used the topic(s) and a set of pictures from the cruelties of the Nazi party from WWII to draft and create new pieces of art to show as an exhibition in the school and their network, reminding me of the our exhibition that was shown in the late nineties with works from design students of FH Munich. It is amazing what they managed to create in just a few days"
Their teacher also remembered that previous exhibition, it was his base for the initiative at his current school, following another project day last year that also featured the movie "Il Canto Sospeso".
We also discussed Timothy Snyder's article referenced here (apologies, German only) - which interestingly closes the loop on Umberto Eco's speech documented in our movie, about 30 years later.
We really value your support and hope to continue our work - I know I keep saying this in the past years, but it seems more important than ever (for varying reasons...) !
Best Regards!
