Dear Valued Partners and Donors,
We are deeply thankful for your unwavering commitment to empowering children with digital literacy skills through the Digital Skills and Safety (DASP) initiative. Your generosity has been instrumental in transforming the lives of public-school students, equipping them with the essential skills required to excel in today's digital landscape.
To date, we have received contributions from 70 compassionate supporters, totaling $15,218 towards our goal of $49,800. While we still require $34,582 to reach our target, we remain optimistic and determined to achieve this milestone.
The DASP initiative has already made a profound impact, empowering over 480 students from public and low-fee-paying schools with fundamental computer literacy skills. These skills include:
- Computer operation and navigation
- Microsoft Word and essential software proficiency
- Safe internet practices and online security
- Effective information searching, analysis, and evaluation
By fostering these skills, we are providing students with the tools necessary for personal, academic, and professional growth in an increasingly technology-driven world.
The Digital Access and Safety Project (DASP) prioritizes:
- Raising awareness about safe internet usage and online threats
- Enhancing critical thinking and effective online content evaluation
- Inspiring students to pursue STEM pathways and develop practical skills
Our vision is to secure the remaining $43,400 necessary to extend digital literacy education to at least 1,000 additional students. We kindly invite you to continue supporting this impactful program and help us connect with like-minded partners who share our commitment to empowering children through digital literacy.
Your ongoing support is invaluable, and we express our deepest gratitude for your generosity. Together, we can create a lasting impact and equip children with the skills necessary to succeed in today's digital world.
Thank you for your continued partnership in shaping a brighter future for the students we serve.
With sincere appreciation,
Dr. Itoro Emembolu,
Executive Director, TechQuest STEM Academy
