Dear TechQuest Partner,
We are grateful for your unwavering support in providing children with digital literacy education. Your contribution to the Digital Skills and Safety (DASP) project is having a positive impact on the lives of public school students and laying the foundation for a brighter future. With your help and that of 70 other donors, we have successfully raised $6,400 toward our $49,800 goal, with $43,000 still pending.
We are thrilled to share that out Digital skills program had over 200 students participate. These young students learned essential skills such as starting a computer, operating the mouse and keyboard, opening software, saving work, and shutting down computers. Your generous donation has enabled us to equip these students with crucial digital literacy skills that will benefit them in their future endeavors.
Your donations have helped these kids to be internet-savvy and sparked their interest in STEM to build practical products. We appreciate this opportunity and couldn't have achieved it without your support.
The “Digital Access and Safety Project (DASP)" primarily targets public and low-fee-paying schools with the goal of increasing awareness and knowledge on how to use the internet safely, safeguard identity, address bullying and harassment online, and introduce students to how to filter/verify internet content. It also aims to enhance their practical digital literacy levels while exposing them to the experiences that technology and the internet provide.
Our goal is to raise an additional $43,400 to equip at least 1000 students with digital literacy skills. We invite you to consider providing further support and sharing this project with additional partners. Your continued support is invaluable, and we appreciate it.
Thank you once again for your generosity.
With gratitude,
Dr. Itoro Emembolu,
Executive Director, TechQuest STEM Academy
