We would love to appreciate everyone and every organisation that has donated to our project. Thank you for your continued generosity towards ensuring young Nigerian children stay safe while online. With your support, the Digital Skills and Safety (DASP) project is still creating positive changes and impacting lives
In November 2021, another set of 66 students at Ansarudeen Nursery and Primary School, Ebute Metta, Lagos State, Nigeria were taught how to stay safe while navigating online platforms or websites, (this number adds to the initial 153 students that were earlier impacted in our first training drive), bringing the total number of students impacted at this school to 219 children.
Our group of learners this time, were the much younger group. The students learnt how to keep some information private and not share personal information on the internet, how to detect fake and real websites, and how to prevent system viruses. The students were also introduced to the importance of not sharing passwords with strangers, how to keep passwords secured and how to build great passwords.
We could not have achieved this without your donation, your donation helped the kids to identify how the internet works and their love for technology grew, we are grateful for this opportunity to increase awareness in young children.
We are still hoping to raise the remaining $43, 542 to positively impact more students. Please support and donate to our project and we would appreciate if you could share our project within your network, every little helps. Thank you for your support!
With gratitude,
