DIAGNOSIS WITH NO CURE: IRAQI CHILDREN WITH CANCER 9-4-2024

During the previous reporting period, Iraqi Children’s Hope supported children who have cancer by providing the following:

  • Arranged for 3 children to get PET scans and CT scans
  • Provided meals for families of cancer patients
  • Provided games and gifts for children with cancer
  • Included these children in clothes distribution on Eid
  • Contributed to paying the fees for an electrotherapeutic catheter examination for the heart of a young cancer patient
  • Provided the means for an MRI scan of the head for a patient from a family who needs extra support

We cooperated and connected with specialized hospitals to develop plans to help children in families that cannot afford expensive medical supplies.

Our partner hospitals systematically provide cancer medication at a large discount. We also provide books and educational materials to give hope for the future.

This is especially important for young children who need care and guidance due to the many difficulties faced by families who have children with cancer. Iraqi Children’s Hope arranges for them and helps provide the necessary treatment for them. It works to provide the healthy environment they deserve. Our staff works to alleviate these difficulties and to facilitate access to treatment and adequate food for the children.

With your support and donations, we will continue to ensure that children with cancer are provided with the most advanced drugs, medical products, and diversified social support. This will ensure the right of each child to medical treatment of good quality and will increase their chances of recovery.
