Medic Outpost is finishing up the first of our "pasantes" training programs for 2023 on June 3. We will have 8 more young doctors trained in our programs to teach our community first responder course in their assigned villages. To date they have trained over 200 community members. Medic Outpost is developing a training program for traditional midwives in remote areas in Guatemala.
This project has some challenges as there are 37 different dialects in the rural areas in the country.

Midwife Training and
Maternal Health
Medic Outpost is continuing to expand our programs to include more education and training for rural mothers and the communities that they live in. We are including more preventative education for traditional midwives and community volunteers. Our education programs will follow WHO guidelines and make a huge difference in infant mortality.
