We are very happy to announce that we have reached Picture Lock and are excited to continue with the other post-production processes. As we mentioned in the previous report, we now proceed with the simultaneous phase of sound design, music composition, and colorization. The sound design is being led by Adriana Santiago from Mexico, the musical composition by Alain Emile from Puerto Rico and color by Leonardo Fallas from Costa Rica. A very talented and skillfull team! At the same time, we are still in the process of obtaining the licenses of the archival music that feature in the film with the producer Karina Cruz of Puerto Rico. In addition, we have already started the design of all the graphic elements of the film, including the poster. This process is led by Puerto Rican artist Reinaldo Cabanillas.
While these post-production processes continue, the Associate Producer Arleen Cruz is helping to map out a plan for future fundraising, exposure and distribution events for the film to begin in January 2024.
It's been one year of work in Mexico since the second phase of editing started, and the goal has never been closer. December is going to be a month of celebration of all the hard work all the team put into it. Its going to be a beautiful film.
