Project Report | Jun 4, 2024
We give the best nutrition for 1323 children

By Natali Romero | Coordinadora de Comunicaciones

Here is the translated text:

In the months of March, April, and May, thanks to your solidarity, we have managed to nourish the hope of more than 1,000 families in southwestern Antioquia.

Sometimes reaching the most remote rural areas is not easy, but it is all worth it when we see the faces of the children and their families when we deliver a complete food package, with everything they need to grow healthy and strong.

We know that to transform the world through affection, proper nutrition, and healthy lifestyle habits are essential. Therefore, while delivering the 2,763 food packages and 7,000 snacks for children up to 5 years old in Andes, Urrao, Caicedo, Betulia, and Concordia, we promote other actions such as:

  • Counseling on breastfeeding
  • Timely and adequate incorporation of complementary feeding for children from six months of age
  • From the soil to the table: promoting the consumption of natural and fresh foods through the planting of vegetables and fruits in gardens, in coordination with entities from the agricultural sector
  • Food as a bond: "buy, prepare, and eat as a family," as a space for socialization and integration around food, with the purchase of healthy foods and optimizing economic resources in families with low incomes

We want to go further and nourish more children, families!

Join our mission to transform the world through affection.
