As we've all seen this summer, it's not just bullets, bombs and missiles that can be weapons in war. The scale of damage to civilians and the environment from the destruction of the huge dam in Kakhovka was unpredictable.
Relief had to come as soon as possible to Kherson. Our Foundation mobilized its efforts, friends and partners. And here are the results.
About 1000 people affected by the flood in Kherson region have received:
- clothes and shoes,
- bed linen,
- foodstuffs
- disinfectants
- utensils
- medicines
- cleaning products
- equipment and tools (shovels, brooms, buckets and basins, etc.)
- life jackets
- personal protection equipment
- electric generators.
In addition, we accepted dozens of refugees from Kherson in our shelter. We are grateful for everyone's assistance!
