Exciting news from Project Hearts – they are getting ready to launch a new cohort of Community Health Leaders this May! Seven women are already excited to join, with more on the way. Your support is empowering women in Baitoa to unlock their full potential and make a real difference in their communities.
And in Guatemala, your generosity is creating a huge impact! Thanks to you, 85 families – that’s 180 individuals across five communities – have received ecological stoves. These stoves are a game-changer, reducing the harmful effects of open fires, easing eye and respiratory issues, cutting down on firewood costs, and helping combat deforestation. On top of that, the families took part in workshops aimed at addressing the challenges of traditional cooking methods, making a lasting difference for indigenous households.
