The vegetable gardens have become for many families in Ayapel, a sustainable source of food and in particular, healthy food.
The produce that was mosnlty planted this season was beans, ginger, basil, kidney beans, among othes. Due to COvid-19 the team has not been able to visit the gardens but we establish permanent communication with the families and they send us videos like the ones seen below.
Is also important to note that the families use recyclable items to plant the food, as can been seen in the videos.
This is one of the projects that has priorized for 2021 because of its importance for the health of the community. We expect to enagage more families and make the gardens a source of income.
