Our New Classroom

By Norman Mayers | Program Director of Creative Thinkers Lab

Creative Thinkers Lab @ Youth Innovation Center
Creative Thinkers Lab @ Youth Innovation Center

On February 22, 2022, we reached a milestone on our path of growth: We launched an additional classroom for creative thinkers in Barbados as part of the Youth Innovation Center at TEN HABITAT.

Our new classroom at the Youth Innovation Center offers six programs:

  • Dyslexic Thinking
  • Visual Communications
  • Art + Design
  • Social Innovation
  • Marketing and Storytelling

This additional classroom helps us promote the value of creative thinking and allow our students to keep transforming the things that make them different into the things that make them amazing.

MEET OUR STUDENTS
Zakai: Lives in Barbados
Strengths: Visual Communication & Story-telling
Main interests: Gaming and Digital Technology

Ariane: Lives in Barbados
Strengths: Dyslexic Thinking & Visual Communication
Main interests: Art and Design

Both students have been coming to the Lab for almost two years, and we are currently working with them to find mentors and internships in the fields that match their individual strengths and interests.

And as always, we are deeply grateful to you for supporting students like Ariane and Zakai. Your donations are helping us to continue providing these much-needed learning experiences here, in the Caribbean.

Thank you for your continued support!

Yours truly,
Norman Mayers
