Dear Leadership Initiatives donors,
This report is to let you know just some of the good that your donation is letting Leadership Initiatives do in northern Nigeria.
The business owner I want to highlight in this report is Rabiu Hassan. Rabiu is the first son of seven children and is married. As the eldest son, he holds a lot of responsibility. Currently, three of his brothers live with him.
When Rabiu came to Leadership Initiatives, he already had an electrical business. He had learned the trade from his father, but his shop used basic tools, and did not have the modern technology to reqally unlock the potential of his business.
Leadership Initiatives helped arrange micro financing from the community for Rabiu to get new and updated tools, as well as open a physical shop.
Through LI’s intervention and his own hard work, he has been able to build a larger and more comfortable home for his family. Rabiu is able to provide for his brothers and occasionally treat himself too -- recently he bought a bike!
