The number of cases in SEMA’s isolation hospitals are very shocking, with the new cases of the Delta Variant, and the 34th week of the pandemic outbreak seemed alarming compared to its precedent week.
We lost 10 patients during the 34th week, including a 7-year-old girl. All death cases had not received the COVID-19 vaccine.
There are 2,225 new confirmed cases in northwest Syria (37 cases of medical personnel, including 12 nurses and 9 medical technicians), of whom 189 cases were confirmed in the camps.
We are extremely concerned about the current situation, which is depleting the capacity of our health care providers.
We extend our deepest thanks to our donors who supported us in the most complex circumstances and provided their support for the establishment of the three isolation hospitals.
