Thank you so much for your support of this project. I’m writing to share some updates from ActionAid’s emergency response for Covid-19 Relief in Brazil, Colombia, and Bolivia. We appreciate you taking the time to learn about and act in response to this crisis.
ActionAid’s humanitarian signature continues to focus on local leadership that is women-led and rights-based, because we know that pandemics, climate disasters, conflicts, and displacements disproportionally affect women and marginalized populations. Thanks to your continued support, we’ve been able to continue our plans on educating local leaders on Covid-19 prevention, disseminating important health information and materials, providing dignity and hygiene kits, and preventing cases of gender-based violence by providing safe spaces for women and girls.
