Thank you so much for your support of this project. I’m writing to share some updates from ActionAid’s emergency response for Covid-19 Relief for Brazil, Colombia, and Bolivia. We appreciate you taking the time to learn about and act in response to this crisis.
We know that health emergencies, climate disasters, conflicts, and displacements disproportionally affect women and marginalized populations. ActionAid’s humanitarian signature focuses on local leadership that is women-led and rights-based. Thanks to generous donors like you, we’ve been able to educate local leaders on Covid-19 prevention, disseminate important health related information to communities, provide dignity and hygiene kits, and prevent cases of gender-based violence by providing safe spaces for women and girls. We have also supported children by providing educational materials and toys. Please consider sharing this project with your network, so we can continue to support those on the frontlines of poverty and injustice.
