Dear ActionAid Supporter,
First of all: thank you! Because of you, our photo captured by photographer Sahiba Chawdhary made it to 13th place out of more than 150 entries in GlobalGiving’s 2021 Photo Contest! Although we didn’t win, we are still honored to have your support in continuing to respond to the immediate needs of frontline communities in India.
While we’ve got you here, we also wanted to take a moment to shine a spotlight on the other people fueling our Covid-19 response in India:
Santvir is a volunteer-driver who has been working with the ActionAid community for over a year now. As part of our Covid-19 relief, he drives the food van with volunteers to various locations for distribution.
Rakesh has been working with ActionAid’s Delhi regional team for over 3 years now. He is currently leading our relief program, conducting awareness campaigns, and helping run the Covid helpline for counseling and assistance on prevention and best health practices.
ActionAid Supporter, ActionAid is and has always been fueled by people power – people like you! Together, we can accomplish so much. Together, we will continue to connect people to Covid-19 tests, offer public health education, and advocate to enhance public services.
