Project Report | Apr 12, 2025
40 years, 580 children, 3 weeks.

By Nowell | Programs Assistant

Dear Supporters,

The April holiday is here, and for three weeks, Project Elimu will be buzzing with excitement! From ballet and arts to skateboarding and football, we have a range of activities planned. We’re also excited to share some amazing news: Mike, our founder, has turned 40!

To celebrate this milestone, we are shining a spotlight on our food program at Project Elimu. Every week, we serve nutritious meals to over 580 children in Kibera, ensuring that their learning is never interrupted by hunger. For many of these children, our meals are the most reliable source of food they receive each day. This birthday celebration is not just a milestone; it represents the vision and passion that created a safe and creative space for children to thrive. Our founder’s journey reflects the resilience of our community, and today, we honor that by supporting the futures of the children we serve.

As we celebrate this special occasion, we invite you to join us. Every donation made this month will go directly to our food program and nourish the 580 children at our center these three weeks. Together, we can ensure that no child has to choose between hunger and learning.

Thank you for your support!
