Dear Friend,
Warmest greetings and thank you very much for your support to our project providing education and awareness to those affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. The ill effects of the pandemic is being felt even in the remote barrios and there is the fear that with very little capacity of health institutions, more people will get sick and will be left untreated. Social distancing, wearning of face masks and good hygiene such as the washing of hands is proving to be very effective and we focus our education campaign towards this aspect. This reporting period we were able to distribute flyers written in the local dialect to 700 individuals mostly within the reach of our volunteers and field contacts. Hoping that we are able to do more and help as many as the solution for the pandemic is still very far off.
